This course introduces the architecture of Edge Software. Students learn how to deploy Edge devices and use Edge Manager to monitor and manage devices in bulk. This course covers deploying applications and configuration to devices as well as updating application configurations and redeploying to a device. Students will also learn about protocol adapters and cloud gateways through which Historian data is sent to Timeseries on APM Cloud.
